I am trying to find the missing link in my Adkins family history. My Grandpa is Raymond Adkins Son of Bernie Adkins (b Feb 21 1899 d. 23 May 1937 of gun shot) son of A. Lee Adkins (b abt 1865 d. 1949) & Marry Ellen (maiden name Alberts) Adkins (b 1875 d. 1959) I can’t figure out definitely who A. Lee Adkins was the son of. They are all buried in the Adkins Cemetery on 10 Mile Creek road, Midkiff, WV.
I’m not positive but A. Lee may have been the son of America & Jackson Adkins. Do you have any addition information to confirm this or am I up a wrong branch of the family tree?

I don’t know if this information will help. Lycans Adkins had a daughter named Perlina/Paulina. She married John Jarrell and had my great grandfather Leander (Lee) Jarrell. I donot know if he had a Uncle named A. Lee or not. I hope this helps. Good Luck
