Gracie Metcalf Pigg, age 88 of Miamisburg, Montgomery, Ohio was born the fourth child of eight to the late Samuel Dalton Metcalf (1894 – 1968) and Bessie Jane Perry Metcalf (1901 – 1965). She is preceded in death by her late husband Carl Clinton Pigg (1917 – 2002) and her son Clinton Wayne Pigg (1938 – 1967). She is survived by three sons; George Edward Pigg, Robert Eugene “Bob” Pigg and Charles Richard “Charlie” Pigg.

Edith Marie Lamb Metcalf age 90 of Miamisburg, Montgomery, Ohio was born to the late Carus Lamb (1894 – 1971) and Allie Alberte Lamb (1900 – 1942). She married James E “Jim” Metcalf (1916 – 1972).

Edith Adkins Whitt, age 71, a resident of West Liberty, KY passed away April 2, 2010 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Edith was born February 22, 1939 in Magoffin County, KY, the daughter of the late Ben Adkins and Ethel Montgomery Adkins.
Survivors include one son, Clyde Whitt JR; two daughters, Kathy Whitt of New York, New York and Loretta Bailey of West Liberty, KY; seven brothers, Russell Adkins, Wheeler Adkins, Lonnie Adkins, Hager Adkins, Robert Adkins, Herbert Adkins, Roy Adkins, all of West Liberty, KY; three sisters, Janet Fannin, Ailene Williams and Alice Scurry all of West Liberty, KY; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Clyde Whitt; one son, George Whitt; two daughters, Pauline Whitt and Connie Sue Whitt; one brother, Charles Adkins; three sisters, Sue Hawkins, Mae Williams and Faye Manning preceded Edith in death.
Funeral Services were conducted April 5, 2010 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Lindon officiating. Burial followed in the Harper Cemetery at White Oak, KY.
These arrangements were in care of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.

REED, Frank age 81, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010. He was born in Pike County, OH on May 7, 1928 to Joe and Jenny Reed. He was raised in Magoffin County, KY and lived in Middletown for 57years. Frank served our country in the US Army. He is retired from General Motors and was an avid gardener, hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Matthew Ryan Michael Reed; 3 brothers, Harkless, John and Buell Reed; 2 sisters, Marybell Gullett and Martha Helton; 1 step-son, Mike Shoemaker. Frank is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marty Reed; one son, Michael (Sheila) Reed; one daughter, Debbie (Joe) Bogan; 2 grandsons, Christopher Reed, Jeremy R. Bogan; 1 granddaughter, Brittany Bogan; 1 great-granddaughter, Ava Lynn Reed; one brother, Joe Reed; step-children, Tony (Sharon) Shoemaker, Doug Shoemaker and Diana Herman; 8 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Licking Valley Church, Magoffin County, KY. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the church.
