1 (16 ounce) package fresh cranberries
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light raisins
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped apple
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
2 tbsp finely snipped candied ginger
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp onion salt
1/4 tsp ground cloves

In a large saucepan combine cranberries, brown sugar, raisins, celery apple, water, walnuts and ginger, lemon juice, onion salt, and cloves. Simmer; uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Store, covered, in the refrigerator. Serve chilled. Top with walnut half; if desired.

Makes 3 cups.
