2 c All purpose flour
½ t. salt
1 c confectioner’s sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 can (5 oz.) diced toasted almonds
1 T vanilla
Oven 325⁰ F About 54 cookies
In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients. Blend well at low speed. Shape into balls or crescents using a rounded teaspoon for each. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Do not brown. Roll warm cookies in additional confectioners’ sugar.
