1 ¾ c flour
1 t. baking soda
½ t. salt
½ c. sugar
½ c. brown sugar (packed)
½ c. shortening or butter (softened)
½ c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 t. vanilla
1 pkg of H Kisses or m-m candies

Mix together all ingredients (except kisses…but including m-m if you are using them). Roll 1” balls in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375⁰ oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for 3 minutes. Put a kiss in the middle of each cookie. Don’t press too hard or they will go right through the cookie. Let cool 3 more minutes and gently put on cooling rack.
