My heart is so heavy
My steps are very slow
I am just a waiting
Lord, to go.

Make my passing easy
I know I cannot stay
Make my pathway brighter
While I am on my way.

Come a little closer
Let me see your face
Many years I have been living
By your loving grace.

Let me see the good things
Eyes have never seen
With all the glorious beauty
And hear the angels sing.

I will not miss you, Children,
So, do not feel so sad.
And when you come to
God’s own judgment,
I will be standing by your side.

Tell all my friends and neighbors
How good God has been to me.
And if they will live for Jesus
We will all be together,
In Eternity.
