2 cloves of garlic, minced (or 1 tablespoon of dried chopped garlic)
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 to 1.5 teaspoon dried parsley)
6 tablespoons light olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 (6 oz) Salmon fillets

Directions:
In a large plastic baking bag prepare marinade by mixing the first 7 ingredients inside the bag. Hold the bag upright and lean it so that all the marinade liquids go into one corner. Mix marinade end, from the outside with your fingers. Rinse and towel dry the salmon fillets and place inside the baking bag. Marinade in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, turning occasionally. Place bag in a baking pan or on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F oven for 35-45 minutes, until easily flaked with a fork.

Alternate method:
In a glass bowl, prepare marinade by mixing garlic, light olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and parsley. Place salmon fillets in a medium glass baking dish and cover with the marinade. Marinade in the refrigerator about 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Place fillets in aluminum foil, cover with marinade, and seal. Place sealed salmon in a glass dish, and bake 35 to 45 minutes, until easily flaked with a fork.
