Ingredients:

5 or 6 cups raw rhubarb, diced (1 inch pieces)
1 cup sugar
1 box yellow or white cake mix
3 ounce pkg strawberry gelatin powder
1 ½ sticks butter or margarine, melted
1 ½ cups water

Directions:

Arrange rhubarb in bottom of 9×13 baking dish. Mix sugar and gelatin together. Sprinkle over rhubarb, evenly. Pour dry cake mix over rhubarb mixture, and then pour water over all.

Melt butter and pour over the top; do not mix. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or without.
