COLLINS, Billy D. age 61 of Franklin, Ohio passed away, July 31, 2009 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1947 the son of Orville and Becky Collins. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Matthew, Bill is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Metcalf); two sons, Billy of Middletown and Lucas of Middletown; a daughter, Leslie Collins of Eaton; nine brothers, William, Hebrew, Kenneth, Paul, Hobert, Timothy, Danny, Calvin, and Manuel. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Joshua, Bailey, Molly, Haley, and Nathaniel. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 10:00 am at Anderson Funeral Home (Springboro) Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.

This topic has been floating in my mind for a while now. At first, I wanted to focus on how people can express their grief when they have experienced the loss of a loved one. However, I realized expressing grief is not always the emotion a person is trying to release. When you think of the person who has passed on, you shouldn’t simply dwell on the present situation, but express and reminisce about the fond times you’ve had together as well.
