My early memories of Mom…
I always picture her…
I’m like my Mom when I…
You’re like Mom when you…
Things I love about Mom…
It is often observed, eventually we all turn into our mothers – a mixed blessing indeed. ~ UNKNOWN

I always picture my mom, cooking or canning. She was always making something. She loved to cook and to garden. Then we would spend hours in the kitchen making whatever she had to much of in the garden, she would make 100’s of jars or pickles or jams and jellies, freeze and can corn and green beans, etc. This is one skill I didn’t pursue. Although, I do own a canner, just in case. lol
I’m like my Mom when I… yell at my kids, it seems like its her words coming out of my mouth instead of my own, or when I drive by some poor animal dead on the road and I’m marking an x on my windshield (stupid superstition) and/or saying… bread and butter on table. LOL
You’re like Mom when you… well my sisters are like her whenever they are trying to mother me, since she died when I was a teenager, they always feel the need to mother me or my brothers in some of the goofy things they say.
Things I loved about Mom… wow this is such a long list and I think a little too personal to share with the world but a few things that I could share with you, was her sense of humor and her long suffering. She loved life and was full of enthusiasm toward her work, her kids and her garden. She loved to garden, it was her refuge away from 5 kids, I think. The only skill I wish I would have paid more attention to when I was younger. She loved to laugh and tell jokes to us kids. I may share more later but I better get a few things okayed by those sisters of mine. Its not always about me. I know.
