1 c sugar
1 c white vinegar
1 can French-style green beans
1 can whole white corn
1 can whole peas (or frozen)
1 jar pimentos
1c celery, chopped fine
1 c green pepper, chopped fine
1 c green onion, chopped

Combine sugar and vinegar together in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Let this cool. Drain the green beans, corn, peas, and pimentos and combine in a bowl. Add the celery, green pepper and sliced/chopped green onions. Add the sugar and vinegar solution to the vegetables and allow them to marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Next day; don’t stir hard or the peas will disintegrate. Salad will keep for 2 weeks.
