Weekly Planning “Think…”
As you go through the weekly planning process, “Think”… about what you did last week. You’ll find introspective, thought-provoking questions to the right of each step you recorded.

Decide which projects or goals to concentrate on for the week. Keep it simple. Don’t have too many projects and goals at once. Learn from your mistakes and only repeat the things that worked for you last week.

Be sure to merge your weekly planner with your monthly planner to avoid any mishaps.

“What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action.” ~ Meister Eckhart

“I made the most of my ability and I did my best with my title.”  ~ Joe Louis

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle

  • Reward yourself. Even for small successes, celebrate achieving your goals. Promise yourself a reward for completing each task or finishing the total job. Then keep your promise to yourself and indulge in your reward. Doing so will help you maintain the necessary balance in life between work and play.
  • Renewal is the process that strengthens us and gives us increased personal power to move up the spiral of continuous improvement-physically, socially/emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
  • Renewal is a gift we give ourselves, not an imposition.
  • Remember to schedule time NOT to work! Create boundaries. Without the 9-to-5 structure, its easy to work 24/7, but not very fun!

I really don’t think life is about the I-could-have-beens. Life is only about the I-tried-to-do. I don’t mind the failure but I can’t imagine that I’d forgive myself if I didn’t try. ~ Nikki Giovanni
